California River Quest

Cali River Quest is one of the most inspiring races that we have participated in the past several years. Formally called Cal-100, name after the grueling 100 mile race on the Sacramento River in one day, this race has been supported by the Friends of the River and our local community.

Set on the scenic wilderness section fo the Sacramento River - you’ll experience mellow whitewater and fantastic scenery. This year there’ll be options for 100, 50, 25, and sprints so everyone is welcome!

SUP Adventure 6 Days 5 Nights in the Central American Tropics

National Geographic has called the National Park of Corcovado and Gulfo Dulce "the most biologically intense place on Earth in terms of biodiversity". In a short six days you'll spot many ocean and land animals: whales, dolphins, crocodiles, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, macaws, and many more! In terms of paddling, the diversity this area offers is just as stunning: mangroves, deep gulfs, coastal rock gardens, and surf. Every day we wake up next to the water with a tropical spread and rich Costa Rican coffee. Our paddling location is located between Gulfo Dulce and the mangroves. There are miles of coast to explore on paddle boards and our private boat. Side trips to waterfall, coffee farms and jungle hikes are all part of the trip!

Trip Costs:

Waterfront shared cabanas with 3 double beds - $1500

Waterfront private cabanas with 1 double bed - $2500

Cabanas have one bathroom and AC.

Trip cost includes all 6 day 5 nights accommodation and meals in Puerto Jimenez.

Flight: SFO or east coast flight to San Jose are between $400 and $600. San Jose to Puerto Jimenez have multiple airlines multiple times a day for a 45 minute flight. We recommend that you fly to San Jose on the first day and stay near the airport. Fly from Puerto Jimenez the second day. Flights to Puerto Jimenez can cost be between $100 and $200.

La Ventana Classic

Let’s escape the winter and go to Baja! The La Ventana Classic (powered by Patagonia) is one of the best, adventurous and unique watersports/bike event in the world! This year it will be help January 16-20, 2019 with a kiteboarding and windsurf race, a SUP race, and a mountain bike race! The SUP race is consisted of a 11 mile island crossing downwinder, 4 mile downwind sprint and a short buoy course.

La Ventana (meaning the wind), is located in Baja California Sur, Mexico. It is one of the best places for windy sports with a gusty season between November and March. The daily wind is a thermal that funnels between the Cerravo Island Channel and the valley of Los Planes.

Our own Victoria Anweiler is spending some time down in Baja this season and she’s going to be volunteering for the event. Check for updates on this awesome event!
