Mike's Paddle Update Jan 2024

GOODBYE AND HELLO KRISTINE!

mike's paddle board selection

Kristine has finished her 2 year stint at Mike’s Paddle as our beloved program manger. During her two years she has contributed so much in terms of developing instructors, students and the paddling community. We will miss her dearly at Mike’s Paddle but fortunately she’ll still be around to teach on the weekends and participate with Ohana Paddle Club.

NEW BOARD STORAGE ON NEW DOCK

Thanks to Sea Trek, there’s now a new dock that holds the board racks for storage. Mike’s Paddle crew, Alex, KK, Kristine and I built a new aluminum rack on the new dock and was able to get everyone who has storage a new space for the winter. We’re glad that this happened so that no one has to find a new space during the remodel.

OLD DOCK HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED!

Yes our beloved old dock is completely demolished. This dock was originally built 8 years ago and we slowly added more sections. Due to regulations and remodel, we have to demolish it for Sea Trek so that they can built a new and better dock for both paddle boards and kayaks. We have just presented the new plan to the marina and hoping that construction will start soon.

NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICE!

We’re moved out of our main showroom and customer service location. BayFoils customer service office has been converted to serve both BayFoils and Mike’s Paddle. We have two desks and ready to serve!

NEW SHOWROOM!

Unbeknown to most folks, we had another office in the courtyard for storage and repairs. We have just converted it into a new retail show room for boards and repair for efoils. We are done with the remodel and ready for business.
