About Alex:

Hi, I’m Alex, and 2021 is my second year here at Mike’s Paddle. I've been paddling for 5 years and fell in love with the sport as it offered a fun way to play on the water, with the added benefit of a full-body fitness experience. Having grown up so close to the water in Alameda, it was inevitable for me to become involved with many different water based activities. Swimming, boogie boarding, kayaking and paddling have all been enjoyable for me. Giving unique vantage points for viewing what’s down under the water and out on the horizon, paddle boarding is still something that I want to continue teaching others about, so that they can get in on all the fun too!
