General

30 Days No Questions Asked - Return any board or equipment purchased from Mike's Paddle within thirty days with no damage and we will refund your money, no questions asked. If there’s damage, we will factor it into our refund reduction. For 90 days and after, see below for Trade-Ins.

In-Store Item Refunds

You are welcome to return any eligible item (see below for exceptions) purchased in the shop within 30 days of purchase, with the original receipt, and provided it is in the same condition you received it in, unworn/unused, with tags and in its original packaging (if applicable). 

Shipped Item Refunds

Our 30 day return policy for shipped items means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for any item in its original condition with tags and/or original packaging.

To start a return, please email us with your order number and the item you are returning. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. You can always contact us with any questions about returning items.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, the purchase amount will be refunded to your original form of payment. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post refunds.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Trade-Ins

Purchased from Mike’s Paddle - If you purchase a board from us and outgrown it within three months, let us know - as long as the board is in good condition, you can trade it in for a new board at 10% off the purchase price.

Purchased Elsewhere/Past 90 Days - If you didn’t purchase a board from us, you can still trade it in with us! Email photos to us or bring the board in to the shop. We’ll give you a fair price for your old board with your new purchase.

Consignments

Want to sell your used board? Most people have good luck selling used boards on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. However, we are happy to consign boards that are in 'like new' condition (small scratches only, no repairs done or needed) for a 30% consignment fee.

Demo vs. Used

We sell both Demo and Used boards. A Demo is a new board that has been lightly paddled around the shop for demonstration purposes to prospective buyers, typically five times or less, and has only slight visual signs of use. Demo boards are still backed by our return policy and the manufacturer’s original warranty.

A Used board is either one that was previously part of our rental inventory, or one that we obtained from a customer via a trade-in or consignment. Condition varies with each Used board. Our return policy applies, but the original manufacturer's warranty does not.
